Miss Leslie, the owner of Essential Skills Pediatric Therapy, has served the Hernando County community as a Speech Pathologist for 25 years. She has a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Florida and has had the honor of treating hundreds of children throughout her career. Her goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for children to explore and develop to their fullest potential.
Miss Stephanie, has been a Speech Language Pathologist since 2012. She earned her master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Florida. She is experienced in providing therapy in a variety of pediatric settings including school, clinic and teletherapy. She is proficient in addressing developmental speech and language delays using wide a variety of treatment methods and approaches.
Miss Alyssa has been a Speech Language Pathology Assistant since 2015. She graduated from the University of South Florida, earning a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has worked in various pediatric settings including private practice, schools, teletherapy, and home settings. Miss Alyssa was inspired to pursue Speech Language Pathology after becoming a parent to a special needs, non speaking child.
Miss Kelsie has been a Speech Language Pathology assistant since 2023. She has a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders from Wichita State University. She believes in creating a supportive, patient-centered environment where children feel empowered to improve their communication skills.
Mr. Logan has a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and is a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Mr. Logan focuses on child led play interventions using a sensory integration approach to learning new skills. He is embracing life as a new Dad of two under two!
Miss Cassandra is an Occupational Therapist experienced in developmental and medical intervention. She has a master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Keiser University and is working on her doctorate degree at the University of Montana. As a mother of two, Miss Cassandra is passionate about improving her client's overall function and participation in family life.
Miss Emily is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who specializes in pediatric intervention. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Occupational Therapy at Keiser University and is the mother of two active boys. Miss Emily aims to help children reach their full potential and have the skills to live happy, fulfilling, and successful lives.
Miss Amanda is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who earned her degree from South University in 2020. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Business Management and a minor in Communication from the University of South Florida in 2010. She is a dog mom to two beloved rescue dogs. Miss Amanda has experience working in private practice, telehealth and community settings. She is passionate about helping children learn and grow to reach their full potential.
